Frequently asked questions
Can I suggest a science story or paper for you to cover?
Absolutely — we love reader suggestions. Use the "Share research" topic above and include a link to the paper or story. We can't cover everything, but we read all suggestions and they genuinely influence our editorial calendar.
I found an error in one of your articles. What should I do?
Please use the "Correction or error" topic above, or email
corrections@scienceinsight.com directly. Include the article name and the specific claim you believe is incorrect, along with a source if you have one. We treat corrections as a priority and publish them transparently at the top of the article.
Do you accept guest articles or contributions?
We are a small independent operation and currently only publish content written by the Science Insight team to ensure consistency of voice and editorial standards. However, if you are a researcher who would like to contribute a first-person perspective on your own work, we are open to discussing it — use the "Collaboration" topic above.
Can you come to our event, school, or conference?
We do a limited number of talks and events each year — primarily at science festivals, schools, and university science communication programmes. Use the "Collaboration" topic with details of your event and we'll let you know if it's a fit.
Can I republish or translate a Science Insight article?
All Science Insight content is copyright protected. For republication or translation enquiries — including for educational, non-commercial use — please contact
hello@scienceinsight.com with details of your publication and intended use. We consider each request individually.
